FIRST TERM AFRISOM COURSES & DESCRIPTION
(1) PERSONAL REVIVAL PRACTICUM, PRP 201
This is a daily-devotional programme and a personal exercise in the Word & the Spirit, involving personal study and meditation on scripture chapters ( required minimum-chapters per day, 5-10 chapters) along with a praying and singing exercise (a required minimum prayer-session per day, 1-2 hours). Learning the Word & the Spirit through a practical experience in the Word & Prayer. This exercise demands the keeping of a Log book of God’s daily dealings and communication with the Individual. The outcome: a demonstrable ability to SEE and to HEAR from God.
(2) PERSONAL REVIVAL FOR MINISTRY, PRM 201
The practice of communion and fellowship with the Lord, in a detailed study of the Book of Habakkuk, and its multiple interpretation as it applies to the end time move of God, in all its seven-fold dimension for Personal Revival, namely; Developing Praise as a lifestyle, Seeking God’s power, Seeking the spread of the Gospel to the Nations, Seeking the Word & the Spirit, Seeking the presence of God, Expecting supernatural interventions, and partaking in the end time Harvest.
(3) PERSONAL HOLINESS, PH 401
A study of the power of Holiness and the practice of personal holiness; the process of perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord, walking in the spirit, overcoming pride, lying, etc, works of the flesh that hinder spiritual growth, laying aside every weight and sin, running the race with perseverance and patience, possessing the Soul.
(4) SPIRIT OF PRAYER, SP 401
A study of Prayer as a lifestyle and a ministry of the Believer, with an emphasis on the power of, the necessity for, and the urgency for prayer, an analysis of the different kinds of prayer, the practice of waiting on the Lord, and the ingredients for a heart-felt and continued prayer that makes divine power available and a reality in the Believer’s life.
(5) FRUIT & GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, TFGS 401
A study, analysis, and understanding of the Fruit & the Gifts of the Spirit, and the much needed balance of manifesting both the Gifts and the Fruit. The Fruit as the character and testimony of the Believer, an outcome of abiding in, and yielding to the Anointing within, as well as operating in the Gifts or the Anointing upon the Believer; the Gifts as channel for divine blessing to others, and the Fruit as channel for divine blessing to the Believer’s life.
(6) PERSONAL FINANCE, PF 301
The three kinds of finances; the demonic, the natural, and the divine. Emphasis on the Natural and the Divine; understanding the scope and the means, creating or generating both the natural and the divine. The Word as THE MASTER-KEY to Divine finance or prosperity. Work or Labour, along with the practice of Giving as SUPPORTING KEYS to both natural and divine finances. Analysis of physical, mental and spiritual labours, and the practice of Giving and Receiving as a lifestyle.
(7) MARRIAGE FOUNDATIONS, MF 801
A study of basic biblical principles essential for the successful building of a marriage as God intended it to be; biblical wisdom in Finding a partner, courtship, marriage, and the bringing up of children in the way of the Lord. Cases of separation, divorce, and after divorce, and issues of Single parenting and the single life.
(8) DESTINY OF LONG LIFE, DLL 301 & DLL 302
A study in the application of biblical truth concerning long-life, both natural and spiritual factors; an acquaintance with revealed truths and surrounding factors linked to long-life, and those linked to premature deaths. The plan of God for a good, long life, the fulfilment of the number of our days and divine purpose in long life (DLL301).
An emphasis in the application of revealed truths to the ministry of Helping others to live long and fulfil their destiny, ministering to others (DLL 302).
(9) PERSONAL HEALING & HEALTH, PH 301
A study of God’s dealings with Man as Healer of sicknesses and diseases, and a study of divine healing and practical instructions for receiving healing, and for walking in divine health. Dealing with sicknesses and diseases in personal life, healing by the anointing, and healing by the Word. The Word and the testimony, and practical ministry of the healing grace and anointing.
(10) THE WORD & THE SPIRIT, TWS 401
The moves of God; the circle of the move of the Spirit, the move of the Word, and the move of the Word & the Spirit. Grounding in the Word, and yielding to the move of the Spirit, the necessity and timeliness of the combination and the balance for the end time. The reading, studying, meditating, speaking, praying and singing of the Word.
